Google Assistant, the personal assistant that Google created especially for Google Pixel, and more recently, Android terminals, will also arrive on the iPhone. The information is provided by a director of the Google company, stating that the technology behind Google Assistant will find a "home" in the iPhone in the future.
Gummi Hafsteinsson is the Google director who told the journalists present at the Mobile World Congress 2017 that Google is considering the launch of Google Assistant on the iPhone. The director stated that at the moment there would be no plans to bring Google Assistant to the iPhone, but if they did not exist, then the possibility would not have been discussed.
Google Assistant was presented "with much fanfare" last year by the Google company as a perfect competitor for Siri and other similar systems. In the meantime, Google Assistant was compared to everything and it proved to be superior only in certain respects, being inferior in others, so it is about the same level as the rest of the competitors.
Google Assistant is currently offered in a limited form in the Allo application available on the iPhone, but things will change in the future. The Google company will offer the possibility to use Google Assistant for several functions in iPhone terminals, so it remains to be seen when and in which Google application the complete system will be integrated.
