WhatsApp is preparing the launch of new very interesting functions for users from all over the world, they are currently being tested with some users. The first of the functions is related to all the contacts that WhatsApp users have in their contact book, the application allowing us to share multiple contacts simultaneously from the application.
You can see in the image below that in the interface of one of the beta versions of the application we have the option to choose several contacts for sharing via WhatsApp. At the moment, the WhatsApp application allows us to send only one contact to another person, so the new function will change the way of sharing data for the better.
WhatsApp will have two great new features
The second major function that WhatsApp is going to offer us is related to the web versions of the service used by more than 1 billion people on the planet. According to recently discovered information, WhatsApp will allow us to set statuses that will be visible even in the web version of the service, which is impossible to do at the moment.
The change will allow WhatsApp users to better express their statuses even through the web and desktop platforms of the service. This change prepared for WhatsApp will not require updating the application in any way, the web version can be modified by the company directly from its servers, without other interventions.
Considering that WhatsApp is testing these functions at the moment, it is hard to say when they will be officially launched for global users.
