StatusPeek 2 offers easy access to the status bar from any application

StatusPeek 2 is a new tweak released last night in Cydia and is specially designed for those who don't like the way the applications that run on the full screen of our terminals work.

The functionality of StatusPeek 2 is presented in the image above and we are basically talking about replacing the button that allows accessing the Notifications Center from these applications with the display of the status bar.

"StatusPeek making its comeback to once again bring convenience to your device. This package was designed to mimic Android functionality and allow you to easily take a peek at your StatusBar in fullscreen apps by simply pulling down from the top of your screen. It replaces the boring and useless notification center grabber that usually greets you when performing the aforementioned action (first screenshot) and provides an unobtrusive StatusBar (second screenshot) just one swipe away, without having to quit your active application.”

As you probably already remember, when you run an iOS full-screen app, it will display a button at the top to access the Notifications Center and read notifications.

After installing this tweak, the button implemented by Apple will become history and instead you will be able to see the status bar, the options for interacting with it being the normal ones from any menu.

StatusPeek 2 is available for $1 in the BigBoss repo Cydia.
