Facebook Messenger since yesterday, the new personal assistant M, which Facebook has been testing since last year, is officially available for the whole world. We are talking about a virtual assistant based on artificial intelligence, offering Facebook users the opportunity to benefit from a multitude of functions directly in conversations with other people through Messenger.
In the video clip below, you can see how the M virtual assistant works for Facebook Messenger users, being able to make a varied range of recommendations and having customized functions. Those from Facebook offer Messenger users the opportunity to use M to order food, or receive recommendations for eating in the city when they are hungry.
Separately, the M virtual assistant for Facebook Messenger can offer recommendations for stickers or emoticons to use in conversations, plus much more. Everything is based on an artificial intelligence system that Facebook Messenger has integrated for the M virtual assistant, it learns from the habits of users in using the application.
To begin with, M is only available to users in the US, Facebook has been testing the integration in Messenger since a year ago, but with a limited number of people. The availability of the new functions of the M assistant will be extended to other users of Facebook Messenger, but for now it is not known exactly when they will be able to enjoy it in other countries.
