Apple's iPhone terminals or iPad tablets have set a small delay before generating the desired action after pressing the Home button. This is implemented because the Home button has multiple functions, and otherwise iOS would not know if we want to press once or twice on the button to generate the function associated with the action.
If you are not happy with what Apple has done, then a tweak called Accelerated Home Button is meant to change the functionality. After its installation, any simple press of the Home button will be activated immediately, and any application we have open at that moment will be closed faster than before.
Of course, using this tweak could also generate some problems due to the fact that the action is done much faster, but everything depends on our wishes.
