WhatsApp has a new update, here's what it brings

WhatsApp is the most used text messaging network on the planet, currently over 1.2 billion people use it monthly, the Facebook company updated the application last night and here is what it has prepared for us.

WhatsApp was updated last night by the developer company, and the first new function is related to a series of color filters for recorded pictures or videos. After taking a picture or a video clip using the WhatsApp application, it will allow us to apply one of the new color filters by simply swiping from bottom to top over it.

Separately, if we receive several pictures from the same person, the WhatsApp application will group all those pictures in a single album, this function being offered since the previous version. Finally, the WhatsApp application allows us to swipe to the right on any message we receive to quickly respond to it, the function being extremely useful.

Although those from WhatsApp did not mention this either, the update also solves performance problems and improves the general experience with the application.

  • Add color filters to your media. Just capture or select a photo, video, or GIF, and swipe up to pick a filter.
  • When you receive multiple photos from the same sender in a row, they'll now be grouped together as an album.
  • New reply shortcut: simply swipe right in any message to quickly reply to it.

The WhatsApp application is available for DOWNLOAD FREE from the App Store.
