iPhone - how many units were sold in 10 years

iPhone was launched by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), in 2007 and although in the first year it did not amaze with sales, 10 years later it is the most popular and best-selling smartphone on the planet. We are of course talking about the iPhone product series, which has so far generated sales of no less than 1.2 billion units in 10 years days, more than any other series of iconic products in history.

You can see in the image below that the iPhone is very close behind, with 1 billion products sold globally, the famous series of Barbie dolls, known throughout the world. At a great distance behind are the well-known Zippo lighters, with 600 million units sold globally, a real achievement for such a type of product.

Next, we have several products such as the Sony Playstation series, the Nintendo Gameboy and DS, the Rubik's cube, or the Sony Walkman, these registering between 200 and 400 million sales. The last series of products with sales worth considering is the Toyota Corolla car series, between 20 and 40 million units being sold worldwide.

The 1.2 billion iPhone units sold globally by the Apple company they brought in over 700 billion dollars in the company's accounts, the average selling price being between 610 and 700 dollars per unit. Of all the products in the list below, the iPhone also generated the most money for the manufacturing company, but that doesn't surprise anyone anymore.
