Why the iPhone will not be produced in the USA

iPhone it has been produced in China for 10 years, with factories for production being opened in Brazil and India in recent years, but without much success for Apple. Even during the presidential race, the US president, Donald Trump, declared that he would force Apple to produce iPhones in the US, but this will never happen, as many people already know.

Why can't the iPhone be produced in the USA? Well, leaving aside the higher production costs, the main reason is that it would be difficult to organize the distribution chain outside of China. In Shenzen and Zhengzhou, the cities where most iPhones are produced, there are many Apple partners that supply components for assembly, the distribution chain being an extremely complex one.

An equally complex distribution chain could not be reproduced in Brazil or India, where iPhone terminals are still manufactured. In Brazil, for example, Foxconn sends semi-assembled iPhone terminals, and Brazilian employees only put the final components and cases on them, all because it is impossible to create a complex distribution chain for components in Brazil.

The same problem exists in the US, but more than that, Apple's partners would create seasonal jobs there, something that Trump does not want. The video clip below explains the whole problem very well.
