HomePod is more interesting for iPhone fans than Apple Watch was before the launch, they have a greater purchase intention now.

HomePod generates over 2 times more interest than Apple Watch before launch, in that case only 6% of iPhone users are interested in this smartwatch. HomePod, just like Apple Watch, enters a market category that is currently disregarded by users, who do not know how useful a smart speaker can be in their home at the moment.

HomePod also has a lot to fight with some competing products such as Amazo Echo or Google Home, but of course there are other companies that make premium smart speakers. At the moment, HomePod also surpasses Amazon's products in the purchase intention, 19% of the participants in the study wanting the smart speaker, compared to 16% in the case of Amazon's products.

"According to a research note published by Raymond James on Friday, 14 percent of iPhone owners plan to buy a HomePod. When the company did a similar survey ahead of the Apple Watch launch, just 6 percent of iPhone owners were interested in buying Apple's first wearable."

HomePod is a smart speaker that Apple wants to launch this year and that has generated a lot of interest from users around the world. Apple will sell HomePod at a price of 350 dollars at the time of launch, quite high according to some, so it remains to be seen how much interest there will be for the smart speaker, despite these studies by American analysts.
