Nokia 8 – Technical Specifications Revealed

Nokia 8 has the technical specifications revealed by a performance testing application, they are worthy of a premium Android smartphone.

Nokia 8 has the technical specifications revealed today thanks to a performance test that reached the internet, still presenting the terminal under the old name, Nokia 9. Nokia 8 is the name that the new smartphone will officially have this year, and the technical specifications announced by this image is very close to those announced in a variety of rumors that have appeared so far.

The Nokia 8 will run, first of all, the Android 7.1.1 operating system, HMD Global trying to offer customers the best possible user experience. Nokia 8 will also have a screen with a diagonal of 5.3 inches, that is, exactly as we were told in other rumors, it will have the "standard" resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, like all premium Android smartphones on the market now.

Nokia 8 will not have a screen that covers the entire front panel of the smartphone, so unfortunately we are not talking about top features for it. Despite this, the Nokia 8 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip, which we also find in Samsung Galaxy S8, but its performance should be superior to that offered by any of the current Android smartphones.

Nokia 8 - technical specifications revealed

Nokia 8 will have the Snapdragon 835 chip processor clocked at 2.4 GHz, and "to its aid" will come 4 GB of RAM, 2 less than many people expected. The Nokia 8 has been presented so far as being sold in versions with 6 GB RAM or 8 GB RAM, but it seems that in the end only versions with 4 GB RAM will be put on sale, so it remains to be seen how good will be their performances.

The Nokia 8 will also have an integrated dual camera, consisting of a 12-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor, although only one is recognized by Geekbench 4. The front camera of the Nokia 8 will also have a 12-megapixel sensor, so we are talking about very high resolution images, but no one is surprised by the choice of such a sensor for the front cameras.

Nokia 8 will be presented in mid-August by the company HMD Global, but for now it is not known for sure when it would be officially launched on the market. However, the Nokia 8 would cost up to 600 euros, if not even more, the information being contradictory at the moment regarding the price that HMD Global would have chosen, but we are not talking about a price close to the charged for the iPhone 7, although its specifications are still top notch.
