iPhone 8 – the new Video Recording Mode

iPhone 8 is going to have a new video recording mode for the Camera application, this being revealed by the HomePod's operating system, i.e. a modified iOS 11. In the image below you can see the relevant entry for this change prepared by the Apple company, it mentions the fact that while recording video clips we will be able to pause the recording when we want, to restart if needed.

iPhone 8 will have this function integrated by the Apple company in the fall, and at the moment iOS 11 does not have the option available in the Camera application for iPhone. The iPhone 8 will have a more powerful processor, but the same amount of RAM memory, but this should not affect the video recording system in any way, so probably everything is just a trick by Apple.

iPhone 8 with this function will simplify the recording of video clips, because we will no longer have to segment the recordings into several video clips, but we will be able to make a long one, only with a break. This function was supposed to arrive in iOS for a long time, but it's good that we have it at least now together with iPhone 8 and maybe it will also be offered for iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus, but not in the old models.

iPhone 8 will also have a new function called SmartCam available for the camera, which will automatically change the settings for recording photos and videos depending on the location where they are taken.
