iPhone 8 - how strange everything will look on the screen

iPhone 8, as you well know, will have a cutout in the screen, and today we see how strange the empty content, or even the pictures, will look on the new screen. Below you have a concept image that was created specifically to show us what a video clip looks like seen on the full screen of the iPhone 8, and that upper cutout is going to pretty much spoil the format we were already used to for this type of content.

The iPhone 8 has portions of the interface displayed around the cutout on the top, and if we imagine that only static content will be visible there, then we could end up with the problem below. Theoretically, if this concept is to be believed, then the iPhone 8 would display in the edges of the cutout parts of the video or multimedia content, which should normally be displayed in the edge of the screen.

iPhone 8 strange screen content

iPhone 8 with such an interface to play videos wouldn't be such a great idea, so my opinion is that Apple thought of everything differently. More precisely, to avoid problems of this kind, I think that Apple thought the interface iOS 11 for iPhone 8 so that information about signal and battery, or who knows what other useful options, are permanently displayed in those margins.

iPhone 8 comes with a screen that has an unusual shape, but that doesn't mean that the user experience should be bad. I think that Apple engineers have thought the interface of iOS 11 so that it compliments this cutout and offers useful functions, and the content of the screen will be displayed to its edge, not around it, so that the iPhone 8 shows the content in a way logically, not as if it was made by Samsung.
