iOS 11 ARKit Will Help Women Apply Makeup

iOS 11 today has a new unusual functionality presented for ARKit by a smart developer, he managed to create an application that he helps women do their makeup using augmented reality.

iOS 11 through the ModiFace application allows women to apply any kind of makeup over a video stream taken using the front camera, without them actually testing any cosmetic product on their own face.

iOS 11 has presented in the second video clip a way through which ARKit allows the creation of a virtual makeup kit that allows the application of various makeup combinations directly from the iPhone and iPad.

iOS 11 has in the video clips below presented just one of the unusual utilities of ARKit, but developers with imagination can create anything they want through augmented reality, if they want.

"Users start with trying on different beauty products on their own video through ModiFace's iOS app. From there, once a selection of products have been made, they can then instantly see their products, product reviews, and product simulations on their own photo rendered as a virtual beauty counter. Users can walk close to the counter to zoom and view specific product visualizations or features. For example, to see the details of a lipstick, they simply walk closer to their photo and move their devices closer to a virtual lip."
