The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is not thinner than the iPhone 7 Plus, but its dual camera protrudes less from the outside of the case than in the case of the iPhone 7 Plus. In the same way, the fingerprint reader in the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 case is a bad design change, which Apple could still take for iPhone 8, something that no one wants at the moment.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 still looks very ugly with its dual camera and fingerprint reader in any color version apart from the black one. Unfortunately, cramming so many black components into one place and surrounding them with various light colors doesn't seem like a good idea for the design of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, at least from the images, but we could see also the cutout from the iPhone 8 screen.
