Google Maps announced during this day the expansion of an extremely useful function that many of its users appreciated from the very beginning. Google Maps had this function implemented some time ago only in the USA, allowing the quick finding of sharing places near us, but now it is also available in 25 other cities in Europe, Romania not having any included for now.
Google Maps displays all public parking lots in 50 cities on the planet right now, 25 of which are in the US and another 25 in Europe, all with a large number of people looking for parking spaces. The function of those from Google Maps is called Find Parking and it is visible in the interface of the iPhone and Android applications, saving drivers many minutes of searching for a parking space through a large or crowded city.
Google Maps displays the function Find Parking in the interface that displays the directions to the location where we want to reach and we talk about recommendations for public parking lots of medium or large capacity. All the parking lots recommended by Google Maps are in the immediate vicinity of us, or of the location we want to reach, so we will no longer have to search for each one separately.

Google Maps also allows you to save the location where you can park, as it did until now, so we are talking about improving a function that is already quite useful. Google Maps also displays icons that tell us how difficult it would be to find a parking space in the location we are going to, and in Romania all of them would most likely be red, just like the traffic information.
However, Google Maps has a special algorithm that helps us discover the best places to park so that we are not far from the location we are going to, but also without wasting a lot of time. Of course, all the 50 cities for which this information is available in Google Maps have detailed information on the locations where you can park, so in Romania we will have a long time to wait for such a function.

The Google Maps application does not need to be updated to display this information for users.
