iPhone 8 – This is what the new Dock and Function Bar look like

iPhone 8 has the new dock for applications presented in a concept that also shows us how we will activate the function bar thought by Apple for iOS 11.

iPhone 8 had today confirmed a major change that the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), prepares it, more precisely the removal of the Home button, but also the lack of a virtual Home button. We already knew that the iPhone 8 will not have an integrated Home button by Apple, but we expected a virtual Home button integrated together with a function bar that displays a multitude of control options for the iOS 11 operating system.

iPhone 8 will have a dock that "floats" above the user interface for iOS 11, and below it will be displayed a thin bar that will allow you to access a menu of functions. It can be accessed by swiping from the bottom up in the iOS 11 interface, as is now the case with the Control Center, but in iPhone 8 we will talk about a variety of functions that emulate those offered by the Home button.

The iPhone 8 will be able to be controlled mostly using gestures, but the image below shows us to a good extent what the main screen of applications should look like in iOS 11. We are talking about an increase in the area where the applications are displayed in the iPhone 8 screen for iOS 11, the new space also allows the dock to rise from its current position and display that taskbar indicator.

In iOS 8, the iPhone 11 will have a dock similar to that of the iPad, in which some icons for static applications will be displayed, as well as the icon or icons of the recently opened application/applications. Apple would allow us to access much more easily both our favorite applications and the applications we have recently opened, the iPhone 8 having more space available on the screen to allow such a change for the interface.

iPhone 8 has the previously mentioned changes shown in the video clip above, but also the way in which the interaction with the new dock will be done. The iPhone 8 will also have a modified task switcher to better resemble that of the iPad, but it is hard to say if it will also display a dock with favorite and recently opened applications, although this is perfectly possible in iOS 11 .

iPhone 8 will be controlled entirely with gestures and presses, without using any physical buttons, as is the case with Samsung Galaxy S8, e.g. It was normal for Apple to offer a change of this kind for iPhone 8 thanks to the new screen with a larger diagonal, so we will have a user experience that will be much different from those offered so far by iPhone and Apple.
