iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus can be pre-ordered starting this morning in dozens of countries around the world, including Romania through this page, and the first signs are not encouraging for Apple. At the moment, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus can be bought in almost any combination of storage space and color in many stores, except in the USA, where the Plus models are somewhat lacking.
iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus can be found very easily in European Apple stores, where the Plus models are unavailable only in the versions with 256 GB of storage space, but in very few cases. iPhone 8 is available in abundance in the versions of 64 GB and 256 GB of storage space with delivery from September 22, the cases being rare when an Apple Store does not have a certain combination in stock.
iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 don't really seem to be sought after by Apple fans, unlike in previous years when the initial stocks ran out in a few tens of minutes or an hour. We are now 4 hours away from the opening of pre-orders and customers can still buy iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus with delivery on September 22, rare being the cases where delivery takes 1-2 weeks, but this is also bad news for Apple.
iPhone 8 – Apple fans ignore pre-orders
iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are launched by the Apple company a whole month before iPhone X, and this can be seen in the pre-orders made now for phones. It is true that we do not know how many iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus have been pre-ordered, but if in other years after 4 hours we were talking about deliveries made in 3-4 weeks after placing the pre-order, now some models are only delivered in 1-2 weeks from placing the pre-order.
iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are nowhere near the upgrades that Apple fans expected, iPhone X instead being the desired model, despite the high price. From my point of view, it is quite easily visible that the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus follow the expected "trajectory", that is, they do not generate large sales because people no longer want to pay a lot of money for upgrades that are too small.
iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are ignored now and this means that if you want to buy any model when they arrive in Romania, you will not have problems, not even in choosing the desired combination. Unfortunately for Apple, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are not and will not be the phones desired by most customers, and the iPhone X is sure to be too difficult to satisfy the high demand, despite the obscene price.
