iPhone X brings Face ID to all iPhone Models

iPhone X will bring Face ID to all Apple iPhone models starting in 2018, if the system will have the success that the company expects.

iPhone X brings Face ID to all iPhone models that the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is going to launch them in the following years, but, apparently, only if the technology will be "embraced" by customers. Face ID was officially presented together with the iPhone X, which will be launched by this page, as an advanced facial recognition system that users must use instead of Touch ID, the fingerprint reader being removed by Apple.

iPhone X has Face ID viewed with a lot of mistrust by future Apple customers because of a not very good moment that put the whole system in the shade. More precisely, during the conference for the presentation of the iPhone X, Face ID at one point refused to work on stage, but not because it had problems, but because it was disabled by people who wiped their phones before the presentation.

The iPhone X was supposed to have a fingerprint reader implemented under the screen, but Apple made the decision to use Face ID because it failed to integrate this technology expected by everyone. It seems that even now there are no methods by which a fingerprint reader can be successfully integrated under the screen of a mobile phone, so the iPhone X will set the "tone" for the implementation of facial recognition systems in mobile phones, including future iPhone models.

iPhone X offers Face ID functionality thanks to a TrueDepth camera that Apple has implemented in the front panel and which is hidden under the screen cutout. Future iPhone models will also have this camera to provide Face ID because the integration of 3D Touch in the iPhone X screen has increased its thickness, and fingerprint readers have become unusable under the screens.

The iPhone X will still have to please its new customers with Face ID, because if the system is not wanted by customers, Apple could finally choose to offer a fingerprint reader under the screen. This is what American analysts think about Face ID, iPhone X and the Apple company, but I think we are talking about something that has very little chance of happening, because Apple will not "turn its back" on this technology after only 1 year.

"This is because the iPhone's 3D Touch module makes the entire panel module even thicker, and could potentially undermine the scan-through performance of the under-display solution. If Face ID fails to impress consumers, Apple may turn its focus to the development of an under-display solution. However, even if that happens, Apple will still have to find ways to overcome the aforementioned technical issue."

iPhone X is the first iPhone model to have integrated Face ID, but not the last, because Apple will transform this technology into the future of biometric security. It would also be stupid for Apple to ditch Face ID for another Touch ID after only a year, considering that it has said that facial recognition in the iPhone X is much safer for its customers.
