iPhone 8 – How easily does it bend? (VIDEO)

iPhone 8 is compared with iPhone 7 in a bending resistance test, and the result is not at all surprising, confirming Apple's claims.

iPhone 8 was launched and can be pre-ordered here, and today we also see a first test that shows us if the company's new phone Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), it bends when we apply pressure on the middle of the case. In the video clip below you can see a comparison between iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 regarding the ease with which the phones can be bent, and the new model from Apple is, surprisingly, more resistant.

The iPhone 8 is more resistant than the iPhone 7 in this bending test, and this shows us how much Apple has learned from the problems 3 years ago with the iPhone 6. The iPhone 8 has a case made of glass, but welds made inside to strengthen it the case, so it is impossible to bend normally when pressure is applied to the case, in contrast to the iPhone 7, which bends very easily, as you will see.

iPhone 8 - how easy is it to bend?

The iPhone 8 resists extremely well the pressure applied to the middle of its case, and although in the lower right part the aluminum edge separates from the case, it's nothing serious. The only thing that is destroyed in this situation is the water and dust resistance in that region of the iPhone 8 case, but nothing is 100% resistant when you put enough pressure on it, as you can see.

The iPhone 8 amazes with its resistance to bending compared to the iPhone 7, and this despite the fact that many expected it to be even more fragile than its predecessor due to its glass case. Having said that, if you have bought, or will buy, the iPhone 8 and are worried that it will bend, well you don't need to worry, and the iPhone 8 Plus should be just as durable as its "brother" or smaller .
