Vodafone has the fastest mobile internet in Romania in Q3 2017 according to Speedtest, the internet speed measurement platform that many of us use. According to those from Speedtest, the certification of those from Vodafone with the largest mobile internet in Romania was made for the third quarter of 2017, so we are talking about a period that covers only a period of 3 months.
Vodafone has Internet speeds that are 15% higher than those of Orange, which are placed in the second position in the top, Telekom and Digi Mobil being placed in the following positions. Vodafone was certified with the best mobile internet in Romania thanks to the analysis of 250.000 tests made between July and September 2017, all made using 4G connections of the 4 big telecom operators.
Vodafone has here a much more credible certification than those made by ANCOM with Netograf, and this through the lens of the very large number of tests analyzed. If in the case of Netograf we are talking about a few thousand tests analyzed over a period of three months, in the case of the Speedtest test we are talking about the analysis of 250.000 mobile internet tests that put Vodafone in the top mobile phone operators from Romania.

Vodafone offers average internet download speeds of up to 43 Mbps, while for upload it offers 20 Mbps, so we are talking about high-speed mobile internet. If Orange offers speeds 15% lower than those of Vodafone, then it is unlikely that any customer will notice the difference, but even so, the fastest mobile internet in Romania is offered by Vodafone.
Vodafone has made serious investments in the 4G network in Romania, and in recent years it has been in increasingly fierce competition with Orange for offering the best mobile internet. Orange has boasted for more than 1 year that it has the fastest mobile internet in Romania, but those from Vodafone are now countering with a certification from, from my point of view, a much more credible "authority" than those in Romania .
Vodafone very intensively promotes Supernet 4G+ in Romania and tries to make Romanians believe that it is the fastest mobile internet in the country, and Speedtest says that this is true. Of course, Orange can improve the network to regain the title of the operator that offers the best mobile internet in Romania from Vodafone, so it remains to be seen what will happen in the future.
