Black Friday it has been a little over 6 hours since it started at eMAG in this page, and thanks to the transparency of the online store, we have the opportunity to find out what its performance is. According to the information available to the press, in the first 6 hours Black Friday eMAG generated sales of 222.671.000 LEI, i.e. 635.000 products were ordered by customers.
For this edition of Black Friday, the people at eMAG prepared 2 million products, and in the first 6 hours of the event, i.e. a third of the time, a third of them were sold. At the moment, another 1.3 million products are waiting for their customers in the online store of eMAG, for Black Friday the offers are still very good for Romanians.
According to those from eMAG, up to this moment, 3.7 million visits have been generated in this page, with a maximum of 473.323 people who were simultaneously in the store on Black Friday. In total, 100 million views were generated for the pages with the products that are currently on sale, 99 years being "spent" on eMAG by discount seekers.
eMAG sales in the first 6 hours of Black Friday
The most popular products from eMAG's offer remain televisions, followed by mobile phones, diapers and panties in third place. Next, perfumes, vacuum cleaners, laundry detergent, books, laptops, external batteries for phones and refrigerators climbed to the top of the most bought products on Black Friday at the store.
Regarding the localities from which the largest Black Friday orders were made at eMAG, well, Chiajna is in the first position, followed by Popesti-Leordeni. Otopeni comes in third position, Bragadiru and Floresti being very close behind them, Iasi occupying the last position in the top 10 of the localities with the most products sold on Black Friday by eMAG per thousand inhabitants through this page.
Finally, we have the largest orders, Pascani being the location where the highest value was recorded for a Black Friday order at eMAG, 60.000 LEI to be exact. It is almost double the highest values recorded in Ploiesti, Bucharest and Craiova, and I will return with more information about the evolution of eMAG sales on Black Friday in another 6 hours.
