The first Laptops with Smartphone Processors were Launched

The first laptops with Windows 10 and smartphone processor have been launched, bringing impressive benefits to customers around the world.

Announced at the beginning of the year, the first Windows 10 laptops with a smartphone processor were launched, they work on the basis of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip in the Samsung Galaxy S8 and offer an autonomy of one day. The performance of these laptops is not great, but they are good for surfing the Internet, staying on Facebook, editing documents and light computer use throughout the day.

With prices ranging between 600 and 800 dollars, these laptops are no more expensive than a top smartphone, but they perform a completely different functionality, which can still be obtained from a phone. These laptops are not only very energy efficient, they are also always interconnected, this being one of the biggest benefits of smartphone processors used in laptops.

The laptops are sold in versions with up to 8 GB of RAM memory, minimum 32 GB of storage space, 12 or 13 inch screens with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a variety of ports. Interestingly, they are not necessarily thinner than those with Intel processors, although theoretically we should have seen a reduction in thickness, but the good part is that they also have included modems for free Internet browsing.

Apart from the fact that these laptops can offer any functions existing in a smartphone, so they have high mobility, they have the greatest benefit in the enormous autonomy that customers receive. The first laptops with smartphone processors will go on sale in the next period, but it is not known when they will arrive in Romania, but their performances will be inferior to those offered by the iPhone X, for example, which has an A11 chip superior to the Snapdragon 835.
