iOS 12. First Function for iPhone and iPad revealed

iOS 12 has the first function for iPhone and iPad revealed by an announcement made yesterday, the announced information taking a lot of people by surprise.

iOS 12 will be launched next fall by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, but today we find out one of the new functions that the operating system is going to offer us starting in the fall. We are not talking about a major function that iOS 12 will have available, but at least we know in advance one of the changes that the Apple company will offer.

iOS 12 is going to offer from this year the possibility to reverse the emoji characters that we send to the people we have conversations with in various applications. The Emoji Consortium made this proposal today and it will definitely be approved and implemented by Apple in iOS 12, but it will also reach Android.

You can see in the image below how the emoji characters that can be reversed will look in iOS 12 and other versions of the iOS operating system, or even in Android. iOS 12 will separately include another 100 new emoji characters, which will initially be part of the beta versions of the operating system.

"Emoji with glyphs that face to the right or left may face either direction, according to vendor preference. However, that can cause a definite change in meaning when exchanging text across platforms. The following ZWJ mechanism can be used to pick an explicit direction."

iOS 12 will be released in the second part of 2018 by the Apple company, so we will know in advance what kind of changes we will see on the iPhone and iPad from this point of view. Until the release of iOS 12, I will keep you informed of these changes and any others that will be integrated into the Apple operating system.
