Samsung announced, through the president of the mobile division, Dj Koh, that it intends to launch a foldable smartphone during 2019, as the phone is not yet sufficiently prepared to be put on sale. Although Samsung had initially announced that it would launch this foldable smartphone by the end of 2018, development problems are forcing the Korean company to postpone the launch until 2019.
