iOS 11.3 has a very important change implemented for the AppStore application, the one through which we install or update the applications we use in iPhone and iPad daily. In the image below you can see exactly what I'm talking about, the AppStore application now showing users not only the version of the application that needs to be updated, but also the size of the update.

We all know that iOS limits downloads via mobile internet to 150 MB, so any application that has a larger size will be able to be installed, or updated, via Wi-Fi. Today's change helps us to find out in advance how much mobile internet traffic we are going to consume when we download the applications to know if it is good to do it or not.

Apart from the technical reasons, displaying the size of the applications that we are going to update, it is important to know how much space they occupy in our phones. There are still many users who have iPhones and iPads with 16 GB or 32 GB of storage space, and knowing how much the installed applications take up is important to know what is taking up your space.
