In front of a very large number of customers who want to replace their phone batteries iPhone affected by performance limitation, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), announced that he did not have enough batteries in stock. Apple has announced that for some iPhone models, a waiting period of up to 2 months is required to be able to replace an old phone battery.
Because the situation became even more difficult in January, the Apple company decided to offer Canadians, for now, the opportunity to reserve a battery for their phone. On their website, those from Apple have a special section where they allow the reservation of batteries for various iPhone models, customers being notified when their battery is in the chosen store.
Apple implemented this option to save users from having to visit an Apple Store, or a phone, to personally reserve a battery for their phone. With this option available, customers can do everything online and will be notified when the battery for their phone has arrived in the store and the phone can be replaced.
It is possible that Apple will test this option for now only in Canada and decide to offer it globally for all customers if all Canadians will be satisfied with it. It is not known how long it will take to test this new option before offering it globally for everyone, but if it will be available in other countries, I will let you know.
