iPhone X: The Apple Co-Founder's Big Problem

The co-founder of Apple, Steve Wozniak, explained during a recent conference what his main problem with the iPhone X is and what Apple did wrong with the phone.

iPhone X Problem Apple Co-Founder

iPhone X is the most popular, and apparently the best-selling, smartphone on the planet, but the new mobile phone from the Apple company is not really to the liking of all the people who have tried it so far. Among them is the co-founder of Apple, Steve Wozniak, saying that he is not impressed by the iPhone X after it was launched, and after Tim Cook, the president of Apple, sent him one, he does not seem to have changed his mind.

During a conference in Stockholm, Steve Wozniak stated that his main problem with iPhone X is not the ugly cut-out on the screen, but the Power button, which in iOS 11 has even more functions. Although initially Steve Wozniak stated that he somewhat paid for the iPhone X, after a longer period of use he stated that the Power button has too many functions implemented by the Apple company for customers who buy the new phone.

iPhone X - the big problem of the co-founder of Apple

Steve Wozniak stated that he likes things to be as simple and direct as possible, and the iPhone X does not fulfill this essential characteristic of the Apple co-founder, being more complicated to use than a normal iPhone. Wozniak states that the iPhone X is a product that contrasts Apple's philosophy of launching products that are simple and intuitive, something that is very easy to understand, the changes offered for the phone complicating the user experience.

"I kinda liked it. The power button on the side does different things if you click it quickly, or if you click it twice, and a different thing if you click it a third time. And if you push it with the volume button it does another thing. And if you push and hold the volume button it does another thing. Just, ugh!”

To be completely honest, I think many iPhone X owners have had some trouble adjusting to the changes imposed by the removal of the Home button, while others have given up on their phones because of it. I have seen many people who used the iPhone X, although they own other models with a Home button, and consider its removal as inopportune, the gestures and the new functions of the Home button seem like very bad changes.
