Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is recognized worldwide for the quality of its products, and according to a new study, its computers are the most reliable of all launched on global markets. The study was carried out by a company specialized in computer repair, and Apple's Macs are presented as being more than 2 times more reliable than Samsung computers.
IBM and Lenovo computers are more than 5 times worse compared to Apple's, Microsoft's computers are 8 times worse. From here on, the numbers are getting worse compared to Apple's Macs, ASUS having the computers with the lowest degree of reliability, but even those from HP are not very good in this regard.
Although Macs are the most reliable, they represent one of the lowest rates of repaired computers, HP's being "champions" in this regard, thanks to their high sales. Dell also has a lot of computers sent for repair, and this is probably where the very low score in terms of reliability for customers comes from.
Apple's Macs have always been recognized for their reliability, and this new study only confirms the fact that Apple creates products that rarely break down. The problem is that when they do break, Macs usually have very expensive problems that frustrate a lot of Apple customers.
