The authorities in China recently arrested 26 suspects who smuggled phones iPhone, transporting no less than 15.000 units from Hong Kong to China per night using drones.
In the amount of approximately 80 million dollars, iPhones confiscated by the authorities were transported in a few nights by smugglers, the achievement being impressive. The drones were used to transport from China to Hong Kong two cables that were 200 meters long, with their help bags with 15.000 iPhone phones were transported in a few nights.
The police in China also use drones with high-resolution cameras to discover smugglers, and that's how they managed to make this truly impressive capture. How many 15.000 iPhones transported in one night across the border using a 200 meter long cable is something that very few people can manage to do.
"Authorities arrested 26 suspects who used drones to fly two 200-meter (660-feet) cables between Hong Kong and the mainland to transport refurbished iPhones with a total value of 500 million yuan [in a] crackdown by Shenzhen and Hong Kong customs. "
China and Hong Kong are only separated by a road and a little water, so those 200 meter long cables made things much easier than usual. China and Hong Kong are connected by highly populated and intensively trafficked urban areas, so for many it is very easy to smuggle any kind of products.
