Google Maps has two very interesting new features discovered for phones and tablets, the company Google continuing to implement improvements to applications that are currently offered worldwide. The two new functions were discovered in the beta version of the Google Maps application for Android, but they will also be available in the version for iPhone and iPad in the not too distant future.

First of all, Google Maps has implemented a new function that allows our friends to ask for information about where we are, and they will receive real-time information about GPS positioning. Google Maps has the function included in the settings menu of the application, we have the possibility to activate it, so that other users ask permission to see our location, this being automatically transmitted after accepting the request.

Google Maps also has a new design for the lists of locations saved by us, and in the image below you can see how Google thought the format for iPhone and Android. Basically, Google Maps will display more information for the locations saved by us, together with larger images of the respective locations, the American company wanting to bring to the fore more useful information about the locations we want to reach.

Google Maps also makes a minor design change for the section Your Places, showing the locations we have visited, the ones we have saved, or the ones we are going to reach in the next period. Google Maps currently has these changes available in the beta version and they will also reach the public versions of the application, but we will have to be patient until Google engineers consider that they are stable enough to be offered.
