Instagram is the largest photo-sharing platform, outside of Facebook, and last night the company that manages it launched an update aimed at improving the user experience offered to users around the world.
Starting today, Instagram has a new filter for comments, which aims to block any kind of offensive or discriminatory expressions published by people within the network. Those at Instagram use artificial intelligence to monitor all discussions that take place within the platform and automatically block any kind of words that should not be visible to users.
"Instagram now filters out bullying comments intended to harass or upset people in our community. Our Community Guidelines have always prohibited bullying on our platform, and this is the next step in our ongoing commitment to keeping Instagram an inclusive, supportive place for all voices."
The same changelog was published by the Facebook company and for the previous version of Instagram, the application being available for DOWNLOAD FREE from the App Store.
