Google is organizing today I/O, its annual conference dedicated to application developers and the presentation of the new version of Android for mobile phones, tablets and other types of electronic devices from all over the world. Google will announce some interesting news for Android today, one of them being already revealed before the event, the American company wanting to offer users the opportunity to monitor how much time they spend on their phones.
Google implements this function to allow all people to see more clearly how much time they spend in daily use of phones, the new function also giving parents the opportunity to monitor their children more easily. Google at some point launched a set of integrated functions in a category called Family Link, these allow limiting children's access to various applications, but also blocking phones and tablets from a distance to limit the time spent using them.
Google will announce an IMPORTANT Function for Android
Google is going to present this new functionality in detail during the I/O conference later this day, the company thinking that it will help parents limit their children's access to technology in their everyday life. Those from Apple have something somewhat similar in iOS, where they allow viewing the period of time in which the applications are actually used by us, but Google will implement something slightly different in Android, probably more complex, with more information about what we use.

Today, Google is preparing to organize an event similar to Apple's WWDC, so we will learn more very important information about how Android will change next year. Having said that, it will be interesting to see what Google has in mind for Android, in order to offer users news with better functions than those existing in iOS, in order to force Apple to make improvements.
