Google Photos launched last night a new feature for users worldwide, the company Google gradually roll it out to everyone using the service on iPhone, Android, or even on the web. We are talking about a function that was not announced in advance by those from Google for Google Photos, but even so, it is expected by many people, and will certainly be appreciated now that it is available.
Starting last night, Google Photos has a new function that allows the appreciation of photos and video clips from shared albums, the Like button being integrated among those visible in the lower part of the platform's interface. You can see in the image below how the Google Photos interface looks now for pictures and video clips from shared albums, but also how it looked before the change implemented by Google for everyone.
Google Photos has LAUNCHED this NEW Feature
Google Photos has been testing this function since last month by the people from Google for some of the users of the platform, so expanding its availability globally is not something that should be surprising. Google normally tests a variety of features before rolling them out to all users, and this one for Google Photos is meant to get people to interact more on a platform where they normally wouldn't.
Google Photos offers free storage space for pictures and video clips, as long as they have a certain resolution, users thus avoiding the worry that this content takes up too much storage space in the terminals. Google Photos is available to the whole world either directly through a web interface or through dedicated applications for iPhone and Android, Google wanting to offer the service to everyone, regardless of the platform.
