iPhone: Apple will STEAL this Feature from Android

Apple intends to steal a new functionality from Android phones, with the American company eyeing a system recently offered in smartphones.

iPhone Apple STEALING Android function

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), seeks to bring new functions for phones iPhone at the moment, and according to a new patent registered to the American company, it would like to take something from Android. More precisely, we are talking about the system used by HTC and Google in phones, which allows the casings to be tightened to control various functions of the Android system.

You certainly know about the pressure sensors in HTC and Google phones that enable the activation of Google Assistant, the camera, turning on the screen, and various other useful functions. These were implemented as a method for manufacturers to highlight their phones in a very saturated smartphone market, and Apple wants to do the same with the iPhone.

What the Apple company would use such functionality for the iPhone is hard to say now, but accepting/rejecting phone calls, accessing the camera, or other functions could be offered. Those from Apple are known for the fact that they don't always offer some features for the iPhone for the first time, but when they do, they do it right.

"Electronic devices receive input from users via a variety of different mechanisms. Such mechanisms include buttons, keys, external input devices (such as computer mice, scanners, and so on), touch screens, and other such input mechanisms. However, providing such input mechanisms as part of an electronic device requires space on the electronic device. Additionally, such input mechanisms may complicate the electronic device and/or the aesthetic appearance of the electronic device. External input devices may not require space on the electronic device itself. However, they may still require a connector of some kind to be located on the electronic device and may be cumbersome for users to utilize, particularly in the case of portable and/or handheld electronic devices."

This functionality of squeezing the cases of Android phones to control various functions is seen by many as something not very important, so Apple should offer something different. For now, there are no details on what Apple could offer, but the patent registration shows that Apple is interested in bringing innovative functions to its phones.
