Android Messages: The function that iMessage needs

Android Messages is a system that iPhone and iPad owners need for iMessage, Apple has refused to offer it so far, but it will have to.

Android Messages iMessage function Need

Android Messages was launched this week by the company Google as a simple method for Android phone users to send messages to anyone directly from the computer, not just from the phone. Android Messages is very similar to Web WhatsApp, that is, it allows Android phone users to connect to Google's website to read the phone's message library and send messages to any person.

Android Messages allows you to log into the platform by simply scanning a QR code from the Android messaging application, much like what happens at WhatsApp, and iOS can offer the same thing because it knows how to read any kind of QR codes. Android Messages is a very clear demonstration of the fact that Google wants to offer its users the best experience of using native messaging services, while Apple is sleeping, unfortunately.

Android Messages: The function that iMessage needs

Android Messages is thought of as a competitor to iMessage, which works based on an Internet connection and iCloud, so Apple could very simply make an interface for iMessage in the iCloud website. Why Apple doesn't offer a service similar to Android Messages is hard to say, especially since most iDevice owners use Windows, not Mac, where it is possible to send iMessages with the dedicated macOS application.

Android Messages should be for those from Apple a starting point to fulfill a very old request of the users, only tweaks for jailbreak providing a similar functionality for iPhone and iPad. It's hard for me to say how long it will take until Apple offers a system similar to Android Messages, but I wouldn't have high hopes that the Americans will be careful to bring a good experience to iOS, from this point of view.
