Google FORCED TO GIVE UP Collaboration with Huawei

Google is under a lot of pressure to give up the partnership with Huawei, the Americans having to fight to continue innovating with the Chinese.

Google FORCED TO GIVE UP Huawei

Google, one of the largest companies in the world, begins to feel the pressure of senators and members of the American Congress to stop collaborating with Huawei for the manufacture of telephones, but not only for that. Those from Google used Huawei to manufacture some phones from the Nexus series, in the case of the Pixel, moving to collaborations with HTC and LG, but the American officials still want the current collaboration between the companies to be stopped as soon as possible.

Google is being pressured by the US Senate and Congress to give up collaboration with Huawei because of the security problems that the Chinese products would have, as they are accused of having too close ties with the Chinese Communist Party. Huawei has been in the attention of the American authorities for a very long time due to the fact that it would represent a danger to national security, and now Google is involved due to its long collaboration with the Chinese.

Google FORCED TO GIVE UP Collaboration with Huawei

Google is being attacked by American officials also for the fact that it recently decided to abandon a contract it had signed with the Pentagon to analyze images recorded by drones during missions. Google gave up the contract due to pressure from its own employees, concerned about how the company's artificial intelligence can be used by the US military, and Huawei is caught in the middle, but it is part of an older problem.

"Chinese telecommunications companies, such as Huawei, have extensive ties with the Chinese Communist Party. As a result, this partnership between Google and Huawei could pose a serious risk to US national security and American consumers "While we regret that Google did not want to continue a long and fruitful tradition of collaboration between the military and technology companies, we are even more disappointed that Google apparently is more willing to support the Chinese Communist Party than the US military."

Google is accused by the Americans of preferring to help the communist party in China instead of collaborating with the army of the country in which it was founded, the comparison itself being more out of place, but when the Americans get angry, they make all kinds of statements. To be completely honest, I don't think Google will give up collaboration with Huawei, no matter what any government or institution asks, so it will be interesting to see how it will be attacked next.
