Starting today, YouTube has a great new feature for the phone and tablet app, allowing users to enjoy something they didn't think was possible.

YouTube launched last night an extremely interesting and useful new feature for those who use phone applications, the company owned by Google implementing something that everyone was waiting for. YouTube implemented this feature in the Android application a few weeks ago, and last night decided to officially launch it for users around the world, but only for those who use its platform.

YouTube has implemented a function that allows the activation of a incognito mode for the application dedicated to Android phones, giving users the option to view content from the platform without recording a history. YouTube allows access to this setting from the options menu for our account, which is available within the application for Android, the transition from the standard system to the anonymous one being done in just a few seconds, if needed.

However, YouTube has a limitation regarding this functionality, and this means that only the main page of videos, and the section Trending become accessible to users who use the application. Unfortunately, videos cannot be added to any playlist for YouTube, the application asks users to disable the mode Incognito to benefit from this functionality, something very normal since the browsing and usage history is not saved by the platform.

"When you turn off Incognito or become inactive, your activity from this session will be cleared and you'll return to the account last used. Your activity might still be visible to your employer, school, or internet service provider."

YouTube offers this functionality in the application after Google has already implemented it for some time for the browser Google Chrome, so it should not be a surprise that it is active for those interested in using it today. Unfortunately for those who have an iPhone and iPad, only users of the YouTube application for Android can activate it in their own terminals and it is not known when the Google company intends to offer it also for those who use the iOS operating system.
