YouTube Announces an IMPORTANT Change in the Application

YouTube announced last night a very important change for the application dedicated to phones and tablets, it being offered from today.

YouTube IMPORTANT Change Application

YouTube, the largest video sharing platform, announced yesterday an important change for users who use its services daily to share videos. More precisely, YouTube announced the implementation of a new section called Explore, this will allow the discovery of new video clips that normally users would not have seen if they had only relied on the recommendations section of the application.

Here, YouTube follows a strategy applied by other companies, those from Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc., offering over time sections with similar names to allow easier discovery of content from the platform. YouTube has now announced that it is testing the function with a small group of iPhone users, but no one knows what this might mean, and how many people really see this change in the application offered on the iOS platform.

YouTube says that this new section will not replace the previous one Trending, where the most popular video clips from certain regions or from the entire platform are displayed, but only comes to compliment it with materials from other channels. Those at YouTube know how difficult it is to discover content producers who are just starting out, or who don't receive a lot of likes to get to the sections Trending, so the section Explore is meant to bring them to our attention.

"One thing we'll be testing on iOS over the new few weeks is a new "Explore" tab, which will help you discover more videos, topics and channels that you might not otherwise see. Will help you discover more videos, topics and channels that you might not otherwise see. We also hope Explore will be a space where creators of all sizes, including emerging creators, can have their content discovered."

YouTube is constantly testing important functions for users around the world, but not all of them end up being actually implemented in the applications for iPhone and Android, in the end. However, if this new function will be implemented in the YouTube application for iPhone, then it will definitely be available also in the version for Android, even if it will take some time to get there.
