gmail, the largest email service on the planet, has since the last few days a new secret function that was implemented especially on iPhone si Android with the idea of offering users something extremely useful, available in the web version. Company Google has implemented a variety of novelties for the Gmail platform in recent months, but not all functions have reached the applications for iPhone and Android, except for the one we are talking about today.
Gmail for Android, but most likely also iPhone, has a new function that helps users to see if there is one in a thread of emails that has been deleted by them at some point. You can see in the image below that when we look at a thread of emails in which there are several messages, we will have an alert that tells us if one of them has been deleted beforehand, and there is also the option to re-insert it in that thread.
Gmail: SECRET function offered SPECIALLY in Android and iPhone
Gmail has this function implemented only for mail threads in which there are no messages completely deleted from our account, that is, they must still be available in Trash. If you have already completely deleted the respective message from Gmail, then the function has no way to help you, because messages that have been permanently deleted cannot be recovered by users, so do not rely on this function to be useful for something like this.
Gmail has this function already launched in the application for Android since this week, but if you don't see it yet, then you will have to wait until it is activated for you by Google. Gmail should offer the same thing including in the application for iPhone, but if it doesn't appear, then it will be available in the near future, those from Google definitely offering it in the application for iOS and the users there.
