Android SPIES on you MORE than iPhone

Android spies on users more than iPhone, with Google collecting more data than Apple when we use their mobile phones.

Android SPIES A LOT on iPhone

Android it is a very complex operating system, with many functions, but according to some information that appeared today, it seems that it is designed to take much more data than iOS, at least according to a study done by a professor of Vanderbilt University. This professor discovered that Android sends 10 times more information to the servers Google, than iOS to Apple's servers, the difference being huge, against users.

According to this study, Android transmits location information to Google servers 340 times a day when the browser Google Chrome is in use, so no less than 14 times an hour. Android with Google Chrome active transmits data 50 times more than iPhone with Safari open in the background, the data reaching Apple's servers, but the rate is lower if the iPhone is not actively used by users.

Android sends to Google's servers daily data totaling 4.4 MB of information, while iPhone sends 6 times less data to Apple, the difference being huge, and this matters a lot for the security of users. According to the study, all this data collection is done only when Android and iPhone phone users are not actively using the devices, all being done without the users having the possibility to block this process in any way, including from iOS.

Android was never thought to offer privacy to those who use the phones and tablets sold by the manufacturers, but in the case of iOS people expect more, but even so, they don't get enough. It is interesting that although in Android the Google Chrome browser, so not only the native one, while for the iPhone we are talking about the Safari browser, which Apple offers natively for its phones, but with which it still collects data about users.
