Skype or Whatsapp announced last night the launch of a great feature for iPhone and Android, it has been offered for some time in Windows 10, but now it also reaches mobile phones. More specifically, Microsoft announced that the Skype applications for iPhone and Android can record video calls made by users, just as you do in Windows 10.
Skype has an update for iPhone and Android in order for this function to be implemented for everyone, which can be installed right now by them. After installing the update, the Skype application will display a + button in the interface which, after pressing, will display the option start recording, which will allow you to start recording video calls.
Skype has LAUNCHED a GREAT Feature on iPhone and Android
Skype will record the video calls made by users with the display of a notification banner both for the one who initiated the recording and for the one who is being recorded. All recordings made through Skype are saved in Microsoft's servers, and can be accessed by any participant in the conversation, including to be saved in phones and computers.
"Today, we're introducing call recording to help capture special moments in a Skype call with your loved ones or record important meetings with your colleagues. Call recording is completely cloud-based and is now available on the latest version of Skype and on most platforms, except Windows 10. Call recording is coming to Windows 10 with the latest version of Skype releasing in the coming weeks."
Skype also allows the sharing of recordings with other users on the platform, so anyone will be able to see everything, if that conversation is shared by someone. Skype implements this functionality before other video platforms offer something similar, and before FaceTime has a function of this kind for its users.
