Google Maps was updated this evening by the Google company, and from the list of changes it seems that it brings a new function that many people have been waiting for since 3 months ago, when it was revealed. I'm talking about an update that Google Maps offers for iPhone terminals, finally bringing the possibility to use the navigation platform including in the CarPlay system of cars, as the Apple company announced back in June.
Google Maps is one of the biggest navigation platforms on the planet, and according to the list of changes, starting today all iPhone users should be able to use it in CarPlay. The main condition to benefit from the use of Google Maps in CarPlay on cars is to have iOS 12 installed in iPhone phones, the Apple company including this obligation for all those willing to enjoy this advanced functionality.

Google Maps has presented in the image above the new interface that is available within CarPlay for users, it being very similar to the one that the Apple company offers for Apple Maps. Basically, Google Maps can be used to create guided navigation routes to any location we want to reach, everything being displayed in the car's infotainment system, and controlled from the iPhone, the implementation making the use of the system much easier for users who need it by him.

Google Maps is the first guided navigation system that is included in CarPlay through an update of the iPhone application, and Waze is going to offer the same thing, this second platform also being owned by Google.
