iOS 12.1 brings dual-SIM to the iPhone using eSIM, or the standard technology based on two SIM cards, but the first is offered only with the support of mobile operators, and the second exclusively in China. For now, some mobile phone operators in Europe offer eSIM support for iOS 12.1 and dual-SIM in iPhone XS/Max, and the customers of these operators have already seen this new function active in the Settings application of the operating system.
