RO-ALERT will send you through the DSU application information regarding weather phenomena of medium intensity that can cause you discomfort, and here we are talking about rain, snow, high intensity wind, and not only that. You can see in the image below what the alerts sent by DSU look like on iPhone, the same is also valid on Android, RO-ALERT sending these alerts a few tens of minutes, or perhaps, before the weather phenomena take place in the area in which you will find out.
RO-ALERT: MANDATORY application on iPhone and Android
RO-ALERT was thought of as a system to send alerts of all types, whether they are urgent or just intended to notify people about weather phenomena of medium intensity. In this idea, most of the warnings you can receive from RO-ALERT will come from the DSU application, if you install it on iPhone and Android, and this is because the alerts sent to Orange, Vodafone, Telekom, Digi, through Cell Broadcast will come only in extreme situations.
RO-ALERT will continue to be tested next week, most likely, and the alerts sent through Cell Broadcast will not be sent through the iPhone or Android applications, at least in tests, but the real ones will also come through the application.
