Samsung. A phone with a special function that no one expected is currently under development within the Korean company, and it comes as a real surprise for everyone. Although those from Google and HTC have implemented in their own phones a function that allows them to be held in the hand to control Android functions, those from Samsung have never made it clear that they want to offer something similar, at least until now.
Samsung. The Korean company is currently working on a phone that has pressure sensors in the edges of the case, their tightening controlling various functions of the Android operating system. The patent was sent in April 2017 for registration by the Samsung company, and it was registered only recently, so we are talking about a technology that the Koreans have been working on for some time, and which could end up in a future phone model.
Samsung. The SPECIAL phone with an UNEXPECTED Function
Samsung. In the patent for this future phone, the company claims that the pressure sensors implemented in the phone can activate various Android functions depending on the strength with which the force is applied to them. All this functionality is not new, and this is because we have seen similar functions from phones from Google or HTC, and Samsung is now just trying to implement something that has never been successful.
Samsung. Considering that they have been working on this technology for about a year, and it has not yet been implemented, for now it is not known when it could be integrated into a smartphone sold to customers. Having said that, Samsung wants to revitalize technologies that have not been successful in other phone models, and this attempt could be a failure, but it remains to be seen whether there will be surprises for functionality.
