WhatsApp. The Apple company made a radical decision regarding the application that is used by more than 1.5 billion people from all over the world, a good part of the total using it from iPhone phones. As you already know very well, two weeks ago a function was launched for the WhatsApp application that allows the use of stickers in the conversations we have with various people, special packages with them can be created by the application developers.
WhatsApp. Apple has deleted all applications from the App Store that had stickers for the dedicated iPhone messaging application, saying that they all violate the rules regarding the publication of applications within its store. More precisely, those from Apple say that all the applications that have sticker packs for WhatsApp have identical functionality, but also that they require another application to be installed in the phones, which is completely prohibited by the company's regulations.
WhatsApp. The RADICAL decision taken by Apple
WhatsApp. Practically, all applications that have stickers for the Facebook platform have completely disappeared from the App Store, so iPhone users cannot enjoy this functionality. Those from Apple are very stubborn in terms of the complete elimination of applications with stickers for WhatsApp, and they do not want to relax the rules based on which the application store operates, which they do almost normally.
Apple is reporting that all WhatsApp Stickers are violating their guidelines. The main reasons:
1) There are too many apps with similar behavior.
2) It requires WA to be installed. Apps should not require other apps.
3) The design of these apps is the same. https://t.co/L86KCYeSBV- WABetaInfo (@WABetaInfo) November 18, 2018
WhatsApp. The motivation of those from Apple regarding the decision to remove these applications with stickers should not surprise, and this is because Apple has the habit of acting in this way with applications that do not suit them, or that are competitors. In the case of stickers for WhatsApp, it's not about competition, but those from Apple always want to show that they have the power to do whatever they want in the App Store, so everything is just a force move, which frustrates users.
