Facebook. Last night the American company launched a function that it has promised for some time, and which is meant to help users around the world to use the social network less. More precisely, Facebook launched a feature called Your Time on Facebook, showing us the periods of time we spend every day using the social network to discover information or communicate with other people.
Facebook. Instagram launched a similar feature a few months ago that allows users to see how much time they spend on the social network, and things continue to change, and now everything ends up on the main network. The Facebook application has this section available right in the main information interface for using the social network, so users can find out extremely quickly how addicted they have become to the platform.

Facebook. As it also happens in the case of Instagram, the application for iOS and Android is also capable of displaying notifications when we reach certain periods of time of use in the application. Apart from that, Facebook offers in that section of the application including information about friend requests, options for controlling the News Feed, and some other interesting news, but something very important is missing there.
Facebook. What does not exist for this system is the option to block access to the application, or various functions after a certain period of time spent using the social network during one or several days. This functionality is offered as standard by iOS, for example, but Facebook does not offer it, and most likely will not offer it ever, because why would it willingly implement a function that limits the access of money producers to its platform?
