Samsung GALAXY S10. SPECIAL FUNCTION CONFIRMED

Samsung GALAXY S10. It has been said repeatedly that there are very big production problems for these components that will be used in the new phones, but it seems that solutions have also been found for them. Those from Huawei did not have great difficulties in integrating fingerprint readers under the screens of the Huawei MATE 20 Pro, so it is unlikely that there will be obstacles of this kind for the Samsung GALAXY S10, especially since Samsung will produce some components themselves, and will assemble their phones.

Taiwan-based General Interface Solution (GIS) and China's O-film Tech are likely to share the orders for ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensors from Samsung Electronics for its flagship Galaxy S10 lineup. GIS and O-film will roll out efforts to win more orders from Samsung if the Korea-based vendor decides to extend the use of the ultrasonic in-display fingerprint technology to its Galaxy Note lineup.

The fingerprint reader mounted under the screen will be one of the key functions of the phone, and this is because the trend in Asia is to give up external ones, and facial recognition, for this technology. The Samsung GALAXY S10 will be presented at the Mobile World Congress 2019 and will be launched sometime in mid-March next year at prices that are estimated to be higher than those of the current series.
