The era of smartphones with 10 GB RAM has begun, the company Xiaomi putting such a mobile phone model on sale at the end of last year, again Lenovo is preparing to sell one with 12 GB of RAM at the end of this month. Apart from these two manufacturers, others from China are ready to put on sale other smartphone models with 10 GB RAM, Huawei, Vivo, Oppo, ZTE, and even OnePlus intending to bring such phone models to the market.
10 GB RAM seems to be just a start for the transition from 8 GB RAM, because some manufacturers would be interested in bringing to the market very quickly, including in 2019, phones that have 12 GB RAM integrated. It is possible that the number of new smartphones with 12 GB RAM will be even higher than that of phones with 10 GB RAM, but everything depends on the success that the latter will have on the market for named manufacturers, so far the interest vis-à-vis them being very large.

Even if 10 GB of RAM is completely useless at the moment for the vast majority of phones, and cannot be used at their true "value", the specifications are still important for manufacturers. This is the main reason why such products will soon reach the market, manufacturers trying to "dazzle" users with pompous specifications, even if they will not be that useful for them in everyday life.
New Android-based smartphones rolled out for 2019 will have some core components upgraded, particularly the upgrade to 10GB or more RAM in flagship devices. Companies including Xiaomi, ZTE and Vivo have unveiled their new models that come with 10GB of RAM, while Lenovo has introduced the industry's first 12GB smartphone.
The transition to 10 GB RAM and 12 GB RAM was still expected to take place at some point, and that's because things have been a bit stagnant for some time regarding this specification.
