AirPods 2 they were released by the Apple company for more than a week, and of course they were disassembled immediately after they got into the hands of iFixIt. AirPods 2 come with a new H1 chip created by Apple, which has integrated Bluetooth 5, but also the same 93 mWh battery that was implemented in the older models. The AirPods 2 case also has a 398 mAh battery implemented to supply the logic board being water resistant, but overall the headphones are not easier to repair compared to the previous model.
AirPods 2 received a score of 0 out of 10 for the ease with which they can be repaired, but this should not be surprising, because Apple makes its products increasingly difficult for customers to repair.
